New iQOO Z11 Turbo leak reveals Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 7,600mAh battery

iQOO Z11 Turbo leak

A comprehensive new iQOO Z11 Turbo leak has surfaced just days before the smartphone’s expected debut in China. While the manufacturer has been steadily teasing the device’s arrival through official channels, a fresh report from the renowned tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has effectively stripped away the mystery, exposing the phone’s complete specification sheet.

The headline feature of the upcoming device appears to be its engineering efficiency. Despite a relatively slim profile of just 7.9mm and a weight of 202 grams, the iQOO Z11 Turbo is confirmed to house a staggering 7,600mAh battery. This massive cell will be paired with 100W fast charging, potentially making it the leader in battery density for smartphones in this size category.

Under the hood, the Z11 Turbo is positioning itself as a performance flagship. It is officially confirmed to utilize the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, assisted by iQOO’s proprietary Q2 graphics chip designed to optimize gaming frame rates and thermal management. The leak indicates that power users will have plenty of options, with memory configurations ranging from a base 12GB+256GB model all the way up to a massive 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant.

Visually, this latest iQOO Z11 Turbo leak suggests a premium build quality, featuring a metal frame sandwiched between glass panels. The front of the device will sport a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. While the refresh rate remains unconfirmed—though 144Hz is likely given the lineage—the panel is described as having prominent, rounded corners. Security is handled by an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a premium feature often reserved for top-tier flagships.

In the imaging department, the handset is expected to punch above its weight class. The rear camera island will reportedly house a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 32-megapixel sensor will handle selfie duties.

Rounding out the package, the device will ship with Android 16 and OriginOS 6 out of the box. It also boasts high-level durability with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The phone is expected to launch in Black, Silver, Pink, and Blue colorways.

While the Z11 Turbo is currently a China-exclusive release, industry speculation suggests it could reach global markets as the iQOO 15R. If true, it would serve as a direct competitor to the OnePlus 15R, bringing the battle of the sub-flagships to the international stage.
