Oppo ColorOS 16 (Android 16) Update: November 2025 Rollout Roadmap Revealed

Following the initial global launch of ColorOS 16 earlier this month, which began with premium models like the Oppo Find N5 and Find X8 Pro, Oppo has now announced a precise update roadmap for November 2025. This major, Android 16-based upgrade is now expanding to more Oppo phones and tablets, with the company providing exact rollout dates.

Oppo typically releases a monthly roadmap detailing which devices are slated for the update. The plan for November 2025 confirms the stable rollout is actively underway.

The company has already begun pushing the ColorOS 16 stable update to several flagship devices as per the following schedule:

Began November 6:

• Oppo Pad 3 Pro

ColorOS 16 Rollout Process and What to Expect

While the rollout for these devices has started, Oppo notes that the deployment is happening in batches. Therefore, the update may not appear immediately on all eligible devices simultaneously, as availability can differ by region.

Users can manually check for the update by navigating to the Software Update section within the Settings app.

More Devices Coming This Month

The November 2025 roadmap, which currently lists six devices with firm dates, is not exhaustive. The company has stated that the update will expand to more Oppo devices later this month.

An official community post clarified, “this list is not final, and we’ll continue to update it with more and more devices when it’s their time.”

According to the official schedule announced during the ColorOS 16 global launch, the update is also expected to reach several models in the popular Reno series this month.

Preparing for the Update

ColorOS 16 is a major upgrade for Oppo devices, bringing numerous improvements, AI-powered enhancements, significant visual upgrades, and a range of new features based on Android 16.

Given that it is a “bulky update” with a download size of several gigabytes, Oppo provides the following recommendations for a smooth installation:

1. Ensure the device has sufficient internal storage to download the update package.
2. Ensure the battery is charged to at least 40% before beginning the installation.
3. Check that all other pending software updates are installed first.
