edmi Note 15 Pro+ Leak Reveals Bigger Battery and New Chipset Ahead of Launch

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Leak

Redmi is gearing up to release the successor to its popular Note 14 Pro+, which debuted in China last September. The first leaked details about the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ have surfaced, shedding light on several noteworthy upgrades compared to last year’s model.

What’s New: Larger Battery and Upgraded Chipset

According to the latest industry leaks, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a “1.5K” resolution display with ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels on all sides. On the rear, users can expect a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera, promising strong performance for both standard and zoom photography.

Perhaps the most eye-catching improvement is the significantly larger battery, with a capacity expected to fall between 7,000 and 7,999 mAh—a major upgrade in battery life for this segment. Compared to its predecessor, this marks a substantial step forward and should appeal to users for whom battery endurance is a top priority.

Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which has yet to be officially announced but is a logical successor to the 7s Gen 3 used in the Note 14 Pro+.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Evolution or Revolution?

It’s important to note that these details refer to the Chinese (and Indian) version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, as Redmi sometimes launches different variants under the same name in different markets. However, in this case, the differences appear to be minimal.

The main technical upgrades for the Note 15 Pro+ include a next-generation chipset and a much larger battery, while the display and camera resolutions remain the same. Time will tell whether these changes are enough to win over users and justify the move to a new generation.
