Realme is poised to introduce its Realme 15 series in India on July 24, with significant anticipation surrounding the Realme 15 Pro 5G. The forthcoming smartphone is positioned as a formidable competitor within the mid-range segment, distinguished by its substantial battery capacity and exceptionally bright display.
The official microsite confirms the Realme 15 Pro 5G will be unveiled at 7 PM IST on July 24. A prominent feature of the device is its impressive 7,000mAh battery, touted as the largest in its class. This is complemented by 80W wired charging via USB-C, designed to facilitate rapid power replenishment.
From a visual standpoint, the device features a HyperGlow 4D Curve+ AMOLED display. This panel boasts a remarkable peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Realme states the display achieves a 94% screen-to-body ratio, offers a 2,500Hz touch response rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. These specifications align it closely with many premium smartphone offerings.
Internally, the Realme 15 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Fabricated on a 4nm process, this processor is expected to deliver a 27% increase in CPU performance compared to its predecessor, aiming to provide fluid experiences for both gaming and multitasking.
Despite incorporating a large battery, the phone maintains a slender profile, this Android device measuring just 7.69mm in thickness. As anticipated for a device of its caliber, it carries an IP69 rating, signifying robust resistance to dust and water. The smartphone will be available in four distinct finishes: Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Silk Pink.
On the software front, Realme is integrating new artificial intelligence functionalities. These include what the company describes as the “industry-first” AI Edit Genie, which empowers users to edit photos through voice commands. Additionally, AI Gaming Coach 2.0 and AI Ultra Touch Control are included to enhance the mobile gaming experience.
