Oppo K13x 5G Debuts in India with Military-Grade Durability

Following the successful launch of the Oppo K13 5G earlier this year, Oppo has introduced another robust contender in India’s smartphone market—the Oppo K13x 5G. Marketed as “the toughest 5G smartphone in its segment,” the Oppo K13x 5G stands out with its extraordinary durability, backed by both SGS Gold Drop Certification and rigorous MIL-STD 810H military-grade testing.

The Oppo K13x 5G’s robust construction integrates aerospace-grade AM04 aluminium alloy within its 360° damage-resistant armor body. Additionally, Oppo has implemented an advanced biomimetic Sponge Shock Absorption System, a cutting-edge design inspired by deep-sea sponges. Reinforcing this ruggedness further is the phone’s Crystal Shield glass and Gorilla Glass 7i screen protection, coupled with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Powering the Oppo K13x 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which provides solid performance paired with configurations of 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Each variant offers 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable through a dedicated microSD slot. Out of the box, the device runs Oppo’s latest ColorOS 15.1, built on Android 15.

Battery life promises to be substantial, thanks to the device’s 6,000mAh battery, complemented by Oppo’s 45W SUPERVOOC fast-charging technology, ensuring swift and reliable power replenishment.

In terms of optics, the Oppo K13x 5G comes equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back. It features a primary 50-megapixel sensor supported by a secondary 2-megapixel lens for enhanced photography capabilities. On the front, selfies and video calls are handled by an 8-megapixel camera neatly positioned within a discreet punch-hole cutout.

The Oppo K13x 5G is attractively priced, starting at Rs 11,999 for the base 4GB+128GB model, Rs 12,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs 14,999 for the premium 8GB+128GB option. It will be available from June 27, 2025, via Oppo’s official e-store and Flipkart, offered in two vibrant color options—Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach.

To mark the launch, Oppo provides buyers attractive bank discounts: Rs 1,000 off on the 4GB and 6GB models and Rs 2,000 off on the 8GB model. Alternatively, customers can leverage an exchange bonus worth Rs 1,000 alongside a three-month no-cost EMI plan. These promotional offers effectively reduce the prices to Rs 10,999, Rs 11,999, and Rs 12,999, respectively.
