Honor GT Pro is Here – and It’s an Absolute Beast

Honor just dropped a new Pro model in its gaming-focused GT series, and it’s a total powerhouse. Meet the Honor GT Pro – a flagship loaded with serious specs like an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, four 50MP cameras, and a massive 7,200mAh battery that charges at a blazing 90W. The catch? It’s only available in China for now. So, unless you’re there, we’ll just have to admire it from afar.

This beast rocks a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a super-smooth 1–144Hz variable refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Oh, and get this – it can hit up to 6,000 nits of local peak brightness. The screen’s also protected by Honor’s super-tough Giant Rhino Glass, and you get an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner baked into the display, plus an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, the GT Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite (Leading Edition) – that’s the same overclocked chip found in the Galaxy S25 series. It clocks in at 4.47GHz on the CPU and 1.2GHz on the GPU. Honor pairs it with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a whopping 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, so yeah, performance won’t be an issue here.

Camera-wise, you’re looking at a quad setup, all with 50MP sensors. There’s a main IMX906 sensor, a 3x telephoto (IMX856), and a 120-degree ultra-wide lens on the back. On the front, you’ve got a 22mm selfie cam tucked into a punch-hole cutout. Everything runs on MagicOS 9.0, which is based on Android 15.

The GT Pro comes in Gold, White, and Black, and pricing in China starts at CNY 3,699 (~$505) for the 12GB + 256GB version, going up to CNY 4,799 (~$656) for the maxed-out 16GB + 1TB model.
