The app guides users through the entire process—from collecting ideas to publishing the final video. Users can browse and save trending content for inspiration, and create videos up to 10 minutes long in 1080p resolution. Editing tools include a touch-up feature to enhance video quality, a green screen for background changes, and access to Instagram’s audio library.
Edits also supports automatic captions in several languages. An AI-powered “Cutouts” tool helps isolate people or objects in videos, while static images can be added and animated. A built-in timeline lets users fine-tune clips, and all projects are saved for easy access and organization. Finished videos can be shared directly to Instagram or Facebook, or exported elsewhere without branding.
