Nokia TA-1234 certified by WiFi Alliance. Brings Android 10 out of the box
|We are about a month and half away from mobile industry’s biggest event – MWC2020 in Barcelona, and leaks and info about the devices that shall be announced there are slowly starting to surface, as they always do.
On 8th January, the WiFi Alliance certified a Nokia device under the model number TA-1234. This device appeared in the EEC database two months ago, with no further details revealed. What the WiFi certificate reveals is that the device will come with Android 10 out of the box and that the supported WiFi standard is up to WiFi ac, which suggest a midrange or higher end device.
I couldn’t find details about the SoC, but considering the support for WiFi ac it is probably one of the midrange or higher end SoCs. Maybe this is the expected 5G phone that should run Snapdragon 765? Details will probably be revealed at MWC2020. In any case, it is great we are not dealing with another low end device.
