April update also out for Nokia 8, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 3.1 and 3.1 Plus
Right at the end of April 2019, Nokia Mobile started releasing the monthly update for most devices in the Nokia lineup. Some devices received just the security patch for April, while others also got additional improvements.
HMD’s first flagship, the Nokia 8, started receiving the April update. While we don’t have details about the update because we don’t have an 8 and it seems that the update release was limited, reader John did provide screenshots showing the newest update installed on his device, adding that he didn’t note any significant changes (thanks ;).

A new Pie build was released for the Nokia 8.1. The update delivers the V2.59E build with the April 2019 security update. The update is around 240MB in size and the changelog mentions the usual “stability and UI” improvements.

Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 3.1 Plus also started receiving the April security update. For those devices, just the security patch for April 2019 has been delivered. The update for Nokia 3.1 is 111MB in size, while the update for 3.1 Plus is 87MB in size (via Nokiafanss).
