Video²: Latest Nokia ads focus on what matters
Nokia Mobile released a few new videos on their YouTube channel promoting the new Nokia devices in a subtle way. The videos have a lot of hashtags (#) in their name, and really put more focus on people and life, and less on the piece of tech we are using. I like such approach and the Nokia brand is in a unique position to deliver such emotions, which HMD is heavily using in its ads, as they should. I wouldn’t mind having more videos about technology, though.
The video that leaved the best impression on me is called “#FirstBaby #WhatMatters”. It shows young parents dealing with their first baby, that cries a lot, as babies do. In some moments the video is funny, emotional and also showcases the Nokia 7 plus and 8 Sirocco. At the end, the mother takes a photo of the child and father by calling Google Assitant and ordering him “Take a photo with both cameras”. This is a new feature that is only available on Android 8.1.1. Current Android One Nokia devices run on Android 8.1.0, and this could be a little teaser that the 8.1.1 update is coming.
