Mivi Enters the Smartphone Market: Meet the Budget-Friendly Mivi One 5G

Mivi, the homegrown Indian electronics manufacturer primarily celebrated for its affordable audio accessories, is officially expanding into the highly competitive smartphone arena. The company has announced its inaugural handset, the Mivi One 5G, a budget-focused device promising robust battery life and a clean software experience.

Positioned to disrupt the sub-15,000 INR segment, the Mivi One 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The device centers around a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel featuring a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, buyers can configure the handset with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, paired uniformly with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. For users requiring extra space, the inclusion of a dedicated microSD card slot ensures easily expandable storage.

A major selling point for the new entrant is its massive 6,000mAh battery, designed to effortlessly power through heavy daily usage. On the optical front, the smartphone sports a dual-camera array on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside an auxiliary lens and an LED flash. Selfies and video conferencing are handled by an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. Notably, Mivi is appealing to software purists by shipping the device with stock Android 16 out of the box, ensuring a bloat-free user interface.
