Nokia Mobile released new build updates for Android 11 for Nokia 8.3 5G and Nokia 8.1. The Build V2.270 update for Nokia 8.3 5G is available globally and it is bringing the June security patch together with much-needed UI enhancements and system stability improvements.
The update is 445 MB in size and what fixes it is bringing is not known, but there is plenty of those to fix. The camera app has been crashing a lot lately, the phone spontaneously restarting, not responding well and battery overheating. I’ll be monitoring closely the device and come back with the changes.
Nokia 8.1 is also receiving a new Build update V6.210 is also bringing UI enhancements, system stability improvements, and May security patch. The bug fixes that the 260 MB big update is bringing are not known, but if you notice anything new, do report it in the comments section.
As I mentioned before in the post that is more of a rant, Nokia Mobile is releasing updates for its pronounced models, but Pure, Secure and up to date slogan is long gone since Nokia 7.2 is still on March security patch, along with Nokia 7 Plus, which is unacceptable for the company that believes so hard in the secureness of its devices. If Nokia Mobile can’t maintain the regular delivery of monthly security patches, what will happen with their enterprise business which relies on up to date devices without any security holes.
