Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway now available in South Africa via Vodacom

Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway is now available on Vodacom in South Africa. Vodacom is offering the Nokia’s wireless 5G WiFi router with its new 5G contracts (plans), as its 5G network in South Africa recently went live.

The Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway provides a solid 5G connectivity with less lag and high internet speed. The router uses either of the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands to connect with your end-devices. And, if you have a large home, you can also connect your router with the Nokia WiFi Beacons, which work together based on the mesh topology to increase the WiFi access points. Nokia also provides a web user interface and an app, available on Google Play store and Apple store, for local configurations.

Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway specifications:

  • Height: 240 mm (9.4 in)
  • Width: 140 mm (5.5 in)
  • Weight: 2.2 kg (4.9 lb)
