The latest update to the Nokia X6 enables you to hide the notch

Is notch a future look of mobile phones, or is it just fashionable until manufacturers find the way to hide the front-facing camera under the screen? It is definitely latter, but for now, we will all have to put out with it, like it or even hide it. Latest update Nokia X6 started receiving gives the option to hide the notch so you could enjoy the looks of X6 that resembles Nokia 7 plus.
The update brought some other smaller changes and upgrades to the UI, but hide the notch option is the biggest one. I actually like that you can darken the screen area next to the notch and use it as a status bar which is showing the standard info, time, used network, WiFi signal strength, notifications…

What do you think of this option? Would you use it?
