Kernel source code for Nokia 3 made public

HMD Global released the kernel source code for the Nokia 3. HMD already released the source codes for the Nokia 1, 6 and 8, under the obligation of GPL, LGPL and other open source licenses. You can find all the released kernel source codes at the official Nokia site by clicking here.

Some time ago, HMD Global also promised to unlock the bootloader on their devices. Up until now, we heard nothing about this. It would be a shame if HMD doesn’t fulfill its promise of unlocking bootloaders, because Android enthusiasts make a good part of the market and offering more options will surely positively impact regular customers as well.

Thanks Amal for the tip. 🙂
