First batch of Nokia X6 units sold out in 10 seconds

This morning at 10:06 China time Nokia X6 went on its first flash sale. The first batch of Nokia X6 units was sold out in 10 seconds, according to the official Nokia Mobile Weibo account. Pre-registrations for the flash sale were available via JD.com, Suning.com, and Nokia’s official store that’s part of TMall in China. The same stores are already taking pre-registrations for the next flash sale that is scheduled for 25th of May.

At JD.com, Nokia X6 received about 300,000 pre-registrations at JD.com, which suggest a strong interest for the device. For comparison, the original Nokia 6 received over a million pre-registrations, while the original Nokia X received over 4 million of pre-registrations at JD.com 4 years ago. Actual sales numbers are unknown.

We don’t know if this device will make its way to the global stage, but early next week HMD scheduled a press event in Moscow where we may find out more.
