HMD Global keeps up to good praxis of protecting the design of all their new Nokia devices. Yesterday, on 17th November, a new device was patented by HMD Global at EUIPO. The device is protected with 3 patents: 004506558-0001/-0002/-0003. HMD applied for the patent on 14th November and the application was made public on 17th November. Other details are still unknown.

At the moment there are 7 devices made by HMD which full patents aren’t published yet, and we cannot see the design that is applied for protection or protected. The devices that have their designs patented, at the moment are: Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. The 7 devices mentioned above could be smartphones, feature phones or accessories.
