German retailer MediaMarkt listed Nokia 8 for €579

Nokia 8 has landed on the web pages of the German online store MediaMarkt. The phone will be available in steel, polished blue, copper and tempered blue colours for €579 (taxes included). Below you can see the unboxing of the polished copper version done by Btekt.

  • I hope the software issues will not be there that was in the review units.

    • If it comes with current software, hope we’ll see update soon.

      • Or better the devices that are shipping to customers have already sorted out most issues out of the box.

Maybe you could write an article about the known issues? It would be easier to follow-up the progress, if it there is something software-related.

How come “stock-Android” have software issues?

        • I don’t like writing about something I havent tested yet. Things Btekt mentioned doesn’t have to be a problem of Nokia 8. But i believe that there could be some problems that could be resolved easily by update.

Even stock Android has to be polished for specific hardver.

OK. I haven’t seen broad reports regarding the software issues so I’m taking it at the moment as a rumour, not as a fact 🙂

          • GSMArena mentioned camera failing to focus on the subject and it was so much that they needed to dump a whole test cause non was presentable.. and to a media centric promoted device.. that seems like an big issue.

And some other issues I think recombu mentioned that some phone does have random reboot + some apps fails to work properly (which works fine on the others)

Again, I hope they are just for review units or those particular devices had some issues & it’s not same on broad level.
