On a local press event last month, HMD announced that the new Nokia 3310 (2017) will start selling in Malaysia in the first week in June. Today, on Monday morning, the device is indeed available to purchase in retail stores across Malaysia but in very limited stock. Our contact in Malaysia says that a lot of stores already sold out their 3310 units, and that some stores got only a few 3310s because of the high demand.
The retail price is RM 239 (€50), as announced at last month’s event. The competitive priced smartphones will arrive this month, too.
